It gives a precise fit and reliable protection for the camera and grip together.

To secure your camera to the SmallRig Cage for Sony Alpha 7R V / 7 IV / 7S III / 1 / 7R IV / 7 V with Vertical Grip VG-C4EM, you will find a bottom 1/4"-20 screw and two side locks to form a three-point locking system that keeps everything steady, and silicone pads prevent scratches. Buttons, the card slot, battery compartment and ports all stay clear.

There are 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes plus ARRI locating holes to add additional accessories such as top handles, side handles, monitor mounts and a magic arm. You will also find two cold shoe mounts for a microphone or LED video light. At the front, a 1/4"-20 locating hole accepts a single rod clamp for a 15mm rod and follow focus.
