The SmallRig Cage Kit for Sony FX6 is a vertical shooting cage kit for the Sony FX6, built so you can film in portrait orientation with the same comfort and control as a normal setup. It's ideal when a job calls for vertical video from a full cinema camera.

An included adapter lets you move the FX6's own side handle into the vertical position, so its familiar controls stay right under your fingers. The side plate has a mount for an optional top handle, which steadies low-angle vertical shots and makes the rig easier to carry.

For long shoots, the V-mount battery plate and power cable let you run the camera from compatible V-mount batteries without interruption. The cage also offers 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 and ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes and a HawkLock quick-release NATO rail for side handles, monitor mounts, magic arms and tripods.

A built-in cold shoe takes a microphone or light, and an Allen wrench is stored underneath for quick assembly.
