The SmallRig Camera Cage for Sony a6500/a6300/a6000/NEX-7 is designed to add protection to your compatible Sony camera while adding multiple multiple 1/4"-20 threads and a shoe mount on top, all this without adding additional strain to the camera body. With the cage attached, you still have full control over all camera ports and controls along with the battery compartment.

The camera secures to the SmallRig Camera Cage for Sony a6500/a6300/a6000/NEX-7 via a 1/4"-20 screw, on the bottom you will find rubber padding to prevent the camera from twisting or damage. In front of the cage, you will find threads to attach an optional accessory such as a lens support or rod mount.
