The SmallRig Camera Cage for Sony a6500/a6400/a6300/a6100 is designed to add protection to your compatible Sony Alpha Series Camera while adding multiple additional mounting points for more accessories without adding any more strain to the camera body. With the cage attached, you will still have full access to all camera ports, controls as well as the battery compartment.
On the cage, you will find multiple 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and ARRI locating holes for mounting accessories. The SmallRig Camera Cage for Sony a6500/a6400/a6300/a6100 attaches to the camera body via a single 1/4"-20 screw on the bottom, you will also find rubber pads on the bottom to prevent scratches or the camera from twisting in the cage. It also uses an M2.5 thread on the right side as an additional locking point. On the bottom, you will find several 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 mounts for attaching the cage to a tripod of your choice.
