The SmallRig RC 220B Pro Bi-Color LED Monolight (2-Light Kit) is well-suited for both video and still applications with silent cooling fans. On the Pro model, you will find a variable colour output from 2700 to 6500K for almost any lighting situation.
Included with the SmallRig RC 220B Pro Bi-Color LED Monolight, you will also find a reflector that creates an intense beam with smooth falloff, and you can easily adjust brightness.
Design Updates
The SmallRig RC 220B Pro Bi-Color LED Monolight features a new optical lens design that offers a 10% decrease in power consumption as opposed to the previous version, but with the same brightness.
It also features an updated lens for high brightness, uniform light distribution, and a high colour rendering index of 95+. The updated COB light source provides a consistent colour temperature, minimising colour deviation within the effective colour temperature range. Its support column also features a damping design to facilitate gradual descent of the light when mounted.
Power Options
The RC220B Pro can be powered via the included power adapter and power cable, or a separately available V-Mount battery, or a separately available NP-F970 batteries.
While there is a V-mount plate built for the use of V-Mount batteries, you will need a separately available NP-F adapter.
Control Options
The SmallRig RC 220B Pro Bi-Color LED Monolight can be controlled in multiple ways. Fast adjustments to the parameters can be done onboard, or you can control it wirelessly using the SmallRig app, free and downloadable for Android as well as iOS.
For larger setups DMX control is also available. For DMX a optional DMX adapter will be needed.
Standard Bowens Mount
On the front of the RC220BPro you will find a standard Bowens mount to make it fully compatible with a variety of standard Bowens accessories such as softboxes, and other light shapping tools.
Additional Features
The SmallRig RC 220B Pro Bi-Color LED Monolight features a built-in umbrella hole to make it easy to attach lighting accessories.
On the side of the light fixture, you will find a display screen that shows brightness, power remaining, AC power supply connected, wireless frequency, and more.
