With a supercardioid polar pattern, the ECM-VG1 provides maximum directivity and minimal noise. Clear voice pickup is made possible, even in noisy environments. Running on 40 to 52 VDC phantom power, this makes this microphone is compatible with a wide variety of professional camcorders, field recorders, and many other devices. You will also find a furry windshield in the box for use in outdoor environments creating sound pickup with less wind noise.

Furry Windshield
