The optical design of the Sony FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II Lens includes one extra-low dispersion element, three aspherical elements and a rounded seven-blade diaphragm. This all contributes to reducing chromatic aberrations and colour fringing for improved clarity and colour neutrality while producing a pleasing bokeh.
Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation assists in reducing the appearance of camera shake while shooting handheld or at lower shutter speeds. The stabilisation system can now also be combined with select camera sensors shift-type image stabilisation.
