Ideal for small birds or distant wildlife, the Sony FE 600mm f/6.3 GM OSS Lens. When filming fast-moving subjects, using the 600mm will not feel like a workout, with the lens weighing less than 1kg. You will find a well-balanced design, again perfect for handheld use, with a single front element. The centre of gravity is then shifted closer to the camera body.
The Sony G Master designation is only given to lenses with optimised sharpness, the smoothest bokeh, and quick responsiveness. The optical construction consists of Super ED and ED elements, suppressing chromatic aberration to deliver edge-to-edge sharpness. A Nano AR Coating II is applied to suppress flare, delivering rich contrast and bright colours in a variety of lighting conditions. To round it off, the rounded 11-blade diaphragm delivers a circular bokeh with smooth focus falloff, resulting in crisp subject separation.
This lens is fully compatible with both the separately available Sony FE 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters.
