    The Sony FX2 Digital Cinema Camera with Sony XLR-H1 XLR Handle Unit is well equipped with a 33MP back-illuminated Exmor R full-frame sensor with a BIONZ XR processor. Capable of capturing vivid DCI 4K internally with 10-bit 4:2:2 sampling, or outputs 16-bit raw video via an HDMI connection. Capture video in XAVS S, S-I, and HS recording formats in Long GOP, All-Intra, H.264, and H.265 codecs. Up to 16 user-imported LUTs or S-Cinematone mode can be applied to exactly match colour and tone to other high-end Sony cameras in the Cinema Line.

    The Sony FX 2 combines the comprehensive capabilities of the Sony Cinema Line with enhanced still imaging capabilities, all these built into a compact and travel-friendly form factor. You are able to shoot 33MP JPG or HEIF images in S-Log3, enabling easy post-production colour grading

    The Sony Cinema Line FX-2 Camera features a powerful AI processing unit delivering multiple improvements in terms of auto focus, auto framing, and stabilisation using deep learning. Analysing colours, patterns, and depth, the processor maintains sharp focus with real-time subject recognition, identifying people, animals, and vehicles. Ideal for fast-paced shooting scenarios such as wildlife or sporting events, the Sony FX II features human and animal eye recognition that is about 30% improved compared to other models, such as the FX3 and 30.

    The 3" fold-out and tiltable touchscreen LCD allows for intuitive menu navigation and impressive 1.03m-Dot resolution. Another unique addition to the FX 2 is a built-in 3.68m-Dot OLED electronic viewfinder featuring a 0.7x maximum magnification. The built-in EVF can tilt from 0° to 90°, with a reversible rubber eye cup and 33mm eye point that allows for precise framing in the harshest of lighting conditions.

    The Sony FX2 Digital Cinema Camera with Sony XLR-H1 XLR Handle Unit is built from a lightweight and sturdy Magnesium Alloy body, featuring a built-in cooling fan to ensure uninterrupted 4K60 recording. The handgrip has also been improved and features one of the five 1/4"-20 threads, three to be used for accessories and two for mounting plates.

    Several functions have dedicated controls, including the power switch, record button, movie/still switch, zoom lever, playback button, and control dials, while seven other buttons serve user-assignable functions.

    The Sony XLR-H1 XLR Handle Unit, coming with the Sony FX2 Digital Cinema Camera, adds two XLR inputs and provides a more ergonomic grip to your compatible FX2, FX3 or FX30. It has two combo XLR-1/4" inputs along with a 3.5mm mic input. For easier operation. You will also find physical controls and dials on the side, it features covers to prevent accidental changes.

    You will also find a microphone holder that can be used to mount a shotgun microphone to your rig. It securely mounts to the camera's Multi Interface Shoe with two screws. Additionally, there are three 1/4"-20 accessory mounting threads.

    33MP Exmor R BSI CMOS Sensor

    The Sony FX2 Digital Cinema Camera provides vivid 4K video with natural gradations, realistic colour, and low noise in both full-frame and Super 35 modes. This is done by perfectly pairing the 33MP back-illuminated Exmor R sensor with a BIONZ XR processor. For exceptional sharpness and realism, 7K oversampling is done with full pixel readout.
    Designed to tackle diverse lighting scenarios, the FX 2 features a dynamic range greater than 15 stops, an ISO expandable up to 204800, and updated dual-base ISO technology for capturing footage in S-log3 at 800 or 4000 ISO.

    DCI 4K Video Recording

    The FX 2 is designed to provide you with the maximum flexibility, shooting DCI 4K footage internally with 10-bit 4:2:2 sampling or outputs 16-bit raw video via an HDMI connection. Capture video in XAVS S, S-I, and HS recording formats in Long GOP, All-Intra, H.264, and H.265 codecs. Colour and tone reproduction can be tailored with precision using up to 16 user-imported LUTs or S-Cinematone mode for matching your higher-end Sony Cinema Line cameras, such as the VENICE.
    The Sony FX2 also features an intuitive Variable FPS setting for creating time-lapses and slow-motion video, it can further de-squeeze 1.3 and 2.0x anamorphic footage, all in-camera.

    Hybrid Still Image Capture

    The Sony Cinema Line FX2 Camera offers the versatility of a hybrid camera in the Sony Cinema Line by improved still image capture capabilities and adding features such as Log shooting and user-LUT applications.
    You will find a built-in toggle to switch between movie and still mode. Shoot 33MP JPG or HEIF images in S-Log3 for streamlined colour grading. You are even able to capture shot marks during internal video recording or playback. Flex or base ISO settings and S-Gamut3 or S-Gamut3.Cine colour spaces.

    AI Subject Recording

    A powerfull AI processing unit delivers multiple improvements in autofocus, auto framing, and stabilisation using deep learning.
    The AI unit analyses colours, patterns, and depth. All this while maintaining sharp focus using real-time subject recognition of people, vehicles, animals and more.
    Human and animal eye detection is improved by about 30% from the FX3 and FX30, which makes the FX2 ideal for capturing fast-paced action like wildlife and sports.

    Comprehensive Stabilisation

    During handheld shooting, the Sony FX2 combines in-body optical stabilisation with AI processing and the E-mount lens metadata. These are only some ways to eliminate camera shake.
    Further featuring 5-axis in-body optical image stabilisation, Dynamic Active Mode provides a stable handheld shooting experience. You will also find the Framing stabiliser uses advanced AI while shake metadata are embedded into footage for post-production.

    Connectivity and Compatibility
