Optical Performance

The Swarovski ATS-65 HD Spotting Scope (body only) does need an eyepiece for proper use, either the Swarovski 20-60x Zoom Spotting Scope Eyepiece or the Swarovski 25-50x W Wide-Angle Zoom Eyepiece (not included).
Featuring extra-low dispersion (ED) fluorine HD glass specifically designed to produce bright, clear views with accurate colour reproduction. To further improve colour, clarity, resolution and contrast, the front glass elements feature SWAROTOP, SWARODUR, and SWAROCLEAN optical coatings that maximise light transmission while making them scratch resistant and easy to clean.

Use and Handling

The eyepiece holder on the Swarovski ATS-65 HD Spotting Scope is angled at 45° for a comfortable viewing angle while sitting, standing or lying down. On the scope, you will also find a large slip-resistant focusing collar that is easy to use, even while wearing gloves.
On the front, you will find an extendable sunshade to prevent glaring, to preserve image brightness and contrast, eliminating lens flare to spook game. The front of the scope features threads accepting filters to enhance your view, such as ND and CPL filters.
You will find multiple mounting options for your Swarovski Scope, this makes it compatible with a wide range of tripods and other supports. Now compatible straight to Arca-Swiss heads without the need for quick-release plates. In case your support does not feature a quick-release plate, the shoe foot does include both a 1/4"-20 as well a 3/8"-16 thread.

Construction Details

The Swarovski ATS-65 HD Spotting Scope features a lightweight, durable aluminium chassis and is nitrogen-filled along with O-Ring sealed to make it dustproof, waterproof and resistant to internal fogging for when moving through extreme temperature and environmental conditions.
