The Swarovski ATX/STX/BTX 65mm Objective Lens Module (Eyepiece Module Required) offers unparalleled modularity and unimanaged application possibilities. The Swarovski Objective Module features an Acra-Swiss compatible tripod shoe. All three eyepiece modules are compatible, including straight (STX) or angled-viewing (ATX) or binocular viewer (BTX).
For those with the original ATX / STX modules, it is easy to upgrade your Objective Module without the need to acquire a new eyepiece module as the AXT Objective Module is compatible. The Swarovski 65mm ATX Objective Module draws more light in and produces a larger exit pupil to improve low-light capabilities and make it perfect to use from dawn to dusk.
The Swarovski 65mm ATX Objective Module offers the optical legendary image quality and world-class workmanship expected by professionals. Extra-low dispersion flouride glass elements effectively transmits all visible light, this results in colourful and crisp images with rich detail. The flield-flattener lens system corrects spherical aberrations to produce crip details right through to the edges without distortion. SWARODUR and SWAROTOP coatings on all lenses and prisms are applied to assist in minimizing glare while maximising contrast.
For maximum protection and keeping the overall weight to a minimum, the Swarovski 65mm ATX Objective Module offers a lightweight magnesium-alloy chassis rapped in protective rubber for added protection as well as a comfortable grip. Optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be dustproof, waterproof and submersable. Optical tubes are also resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme temperature changes and environmental conditions.
Optical Performance
The Swarovski 65mm ATX Objective Module requires an optional eyepiece for operation. These include the straight (STX), angled (ATX) or binocular viewer (BTX).
The Swarovski Objective Module draws more light in and produces a larger exit pupil to improve low-light capabilities and make it perfect to use from dawn to dusk.
The implementation of Extra-low dispersion fluoride HD glass. This is to reduce chromatic aberrations to produce clearer and sharper views with limited fringing.
The flield-flattener lens system corrects spherical aberrations to produce crip details right through to the edges without distortion. SWARODUR and SWAROTOP coatings on all lenses and prisms are applied to assist in minimizing glare while maximising contrast.
Use and Handling
On the barrel, you will find a large focusing wheel, this is to enable easy manipulation, even when wearing gloves. The tripod mount is rotatable for precise eyepiece placement.
For easy mounting, the tripod shoe is compatible with Arca-Swiss quick-release plates and features a standard 1/4"-20 socket at the bottom of the shoe.
Construction Details
The Swarovski 65mm ATX Objective Module features a lightweight impact-resistant magnesium alloy housing wrapped in a rubber armour coating to provide additional protection and make it non-slip for more secure handling.
Swarovski's SWAROCLEAN non-stick coating is applied to all exposed lens surfaces for easy cleaning and clear views.
Lens barrels are filled with nitrogen and O-ring sealed to make it dust- and waterproof. This design makes it resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme temperature changes or environmental conditions.
