    The Swarovski STX Spotting Scope Modular Zoom Eyepiece (Straight Viewing) is a wide-angle eyepiece specifically designed to be used with the Swarovski STX spotting scope series. This eyepiece is compatible with the STX-65, STX-85, and STX-95 objective assemblies. Mounted with either the STX-65 or STX-85 objective assembly, this zoom eyepiece has a magnification range of 25-60x; when mounted on the STX-95 model, the magnification range is 30-70x.

    The Swarovski STX Spotting Scope Modular Zoom Eyepiece (Straight Viewing) is well known for its ergonomic handling and user-friendly functionality. It is easy to attach/detach the eyepiece from the objective assembly bayonet mount, making disassembly easy. 

    This eyepiece is engineered with a straight viewing angle, with the zoom dial on the objective assembly. This enables one-handed adjustments to the field of view and zoom.

    Optical Performance

    The Swarovski STX Spotting Scope Modular Zoom Eyepiece (Straight Viewing) offers a 25-60x zoom range on the STX-65 and STX-85, then with the STX-95 you have a 30-70x zoom range with an apparent angle of view of 71-57° on all STX models.
    On the STX-65 and STX-85 the angle of view is at 2.37-1.3°, while with the STX-85 your angle of view is 1.98-1.09°.
    On the ocular surface, Swarovski has added their SWAROCLEAN nonstick coating. You will also find phase-corrected roof prisms.

    Use and Handling

    The Swarovski STX Spotting Scope Modular Zoom Eyepiece (Straight Viewing) features an extra-long 20mm eye relief. With a click-stop twist-in and removable eyecup.
    One-handed operation is possible via side-by-side zoom and focus dials, which are both grooved.
