A VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor focus mechanism offers fast, quiet, and precise autofocus throughout the zoom range, perfect for stills and video applications, this also supports Sony's Fast Hybrid AF and Eye AF with compatible cameras.
