The Fluorine Coating features impressive water- and oil- repellent properties; making it so much easier to clean the lens and also being less vulnerable to getting damaged, or from getting dirt, dust, moisture, and fingerprints staining on it.

Newly developed and featuring in the Tamron SP 35mm F/1.4 Di USD Lens is a Dynamic Rolling-cam mechanism that moves the heavy focusing unit of the large f/1.4 aperture with exceptionally high-speed and accuracy. Having all of this said, it ensures stable AF performance and enhances reliability even under harsh shooting conditions, including low and high temperature extremes. Additionally, the lens also sports a Full-Time Manual Focus override system which enables photographers to quickly make fine adjustments to the point of focus, even in Autofocus mode.
