The Tilta Mirage Matte Box with VND is designed as a modular system clipping onto a 95mm OD lens with a rugged build designed for daily use, yet with a lightweight build ideal for handheld, gimbal, stabiliser, or gimbal use. The included variable ND system allows for precise adjustment of the ND effect from 0.3 to 2.7 stops,

The Matte box weight is about the same as a standard lens filter accepting Tilta's  95mm circular filters with the included adapter.

The Tilta Mirage Matte Box with VND features a rigid hood as well as a top flag aid, these both assist in reducing glare and cuts out overhead flares. Four included lens adapters enable mounting the Mirage Matte Box on lenses with 67, 72, 77, or 82mm threaded fronts. The included 15mm LWS rod clamp can be attached, allowing you to mount the Mirage on rods to take the weight off your lens or use lenses with rotating fronts.

In the box, you will also find 4 x 5.65" stackable filter holder, herewith you can mount up to four compatible filters. Other modular components, such as a top flag, dual circular filter tray, filter protector, and rubber hood for shooting up against windows, are available separately.
